But it's ironic really, the way the saying got messed up over time until it means the complete opposite. The full saying is 'The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb'. Going from a family of 8 to 1 was a challenge for Amelia, but what happens when her 5 brothers try showing back up? Give this story a chance yk, I rate it a 10/10 so lmk if I'm biased or if it's generally that good :)
