The Owl Lady and her apprentice both go by many names and have ruled over Bonesborough like the sun and moon. Eda Clawthorne, her human and their demon pet ruled over the day, pickpocketing and setting up her shop whilst the apprentice, Wild Winnie, combed through the streets in the night. Everything was going swimmingly until the petrification ceremony which left Eda powerless and her sister Lillith cramping the Owl House living room. With no power and no money, Winnie and Luz the Human go Selkidomus hunting to make ends meet, but what happens when they find themselves being hunted instead?
