Arrow Odd was a Viking Prince who fought against slavery in Medieval Scandinavia. This Saga is based upon the ancient Saga of Arrow Odd and it places the hero Arrow Odd into his proper time and place in history.  Prince Helgi 'Arrow Odd' Erikson is the grandson of King Ragnar 'Lothbrok', the son of Prince Erik 'Bragi' Ragnarson and the half-brother of Prince Ivar 'the Boneless' Erikson.  The ancient saga was full of Viking ship battles with plenty of Princesses, witches and warlocks, giants and dwarfs, so this is reflected in the new saga solely to maintain the historicity of the tale.
