We all know the story, the hero fights evil to save the princess and the kingdom, but what if the hero decided to do things differently? what if he turns into an anti-hero?

THINGS TO TAKE IN CONSIDERATION:
-Do you need to know or have played OOT?: YES. Its tiresome reading about people bashing the story because they don't even know how the game goes.
-What is it with the Marvel combo?" Its my personal take on what the SWORD organization should be, and how it works. SWORD does exist on the Marvel universe, but it got completely forgotten since the super hero aspect of it (SHIELD) was more profitable. I am taking advantage of that and making SWORD what I want it to be.
-What type of guy is Link?" He is a cynical antihero with a strong character, and an unyielding need to protect the people he cares about.
-Will there be romance?" Yes, but a very slow one an full of underlying hatred.
-How often are you updating?" once every two weeks, I have an autoimmune, so I don't have the time or the head to be writing often, but twice a month doesn't sound so bad.

"Princess!" he yelled after her. "Where are you going?" "Back to the castle," she replied without stopping. "Not by yourself you're not!" "I'm sorry,"-she whipped around-"I didn't realize you were my father?" "Your father, the king, would execute me for letting you travel by yourself." "Oh, so this is about self-preservation?" "Yes. Yours. There are monsters all over Hyrule now, Your Highness." Blue eyes pointedly looked her up and down. "And by the looks of it, you're not equipped to handle that." She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. [This story is set in a fusion of Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, with a couple tweaks and some familiar faces'n'places from older games joining along the way!] Thank you for the #1 spot in the Zelda tag! 💗 And thank you for #1 in PrincessZelda, Zelink and BreathoftheWild tags!! As Time's Wheel turned, Hyrule's ancient legends of kings, queens, and heroic knights in green slowly faded into myths. In the modern day Hyrule, everything seemed perfect; its economy flourished, its stocks rose like never before, its citizens were happy, and its military was one of the best in the world. That is all until Hyrule's neighboring nation, Gerudia, conducted a large scale invasion of its surrounding countries. Led by the former leader of a terrorist organization known for causing mass genocide and destruction, Ganondorf Dragmire and his nation plan to show the world the true power of a long forgotten magical element. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to my next big story! I have some great ideas for this, so I hope you all enjoy. Cover art: made by me!
