Ocarin was found by Kami when she was abandoned as a baby by her parents. She was raised by him and Mr. Popo and works with them on the lookout. After Kami's split incident with the demon king piccolo, she along with Popo helped trained Goku, who's the same age as her, to stop the reincarnated version, piccolo. It was love at first sight at the world's martial arts tournament, well for her at least, secretly, when she first laid eyes on him.
