Thorn in My Side - Ghost x Reader

This story takes place after the MWII 2022 ending, so spoiler warning! I am also not huge into COD lore and plan on making some stuff up so people can't come at me for inaccuracy :)! If I end up introducing Marakov, the story will go in a different direction than the games!

With the Graves incident coming to an explosive end, as well as the execution of the well-known terrorist leader Hassan, Laswell and Price have a lot of pieces to put back together. With Shepard gone dark, it's only a matter of time before he resurfaces with an army not many could face. The need for Taskforce 1-4-1 was greater than ever, but they needed more soldiers.

Thorn, code-name given for reasons unknown to most, but she always completes the mission with deadly precision and accuracy. A well-rounded special operations general, excelling in mid-to-close range combat. While many don't know the origin of her name, she's known for her nihilistic perspective and sarcasm; if they could even get her to talk. She's been in the military long enough to become a myth around the base camp she started at 12 years ago.

Owl, another special operations soldier, though he specializes in long-range marksman positions. He got his code name for holding down fire for his team with an MCPR-300 on a mountain cli ff while they tried to raid a drug-lord's mansion. He dropped over 30 targets, all over the large estate, and when they thought it was over, he turned over from his prone spot to kill a straggler trying to sneak up on him. Everyone says he has eyes on the back of his head, and maybe they're right. He previously was on a team with Thorn, with all the time spent on missions together, he'd say they're friends.
With no time to waste, Price rounds up the troops to an unmarked base to serve as a new headquarters for the war soon to come.
