Sophie Foster never thought she would be staring at Gisela Sencen's Wanderling, but here she was, in her own personal garden, looking at a very good mimicry of the tree. It had been five years since the final battle where she was killed, but Sophie still is haunted by Gisela's death.
Sophie ran away that same day, leaving the lost cities behind to live in solitude to try and salvage her sanity.
Now, it's time for her to return, and mend the friendships and relationships that she had left behind on that day.
SOKEEFE HEAVY. Angst for the first couple of chapters, and bittersweet, but I promise it gets happier.

Beginning right after the latest Keepers book Unlocked, Sophie returns home to Find Grady suspiciously sad, but never in her mind could she have imagined why, finally she goes up stairs and reads Keefe's (heartbreaking) letter.
