The Corner Store
I fell for a boy with the kindest blue eyes, and a charming dimple. He made me feel loved, and cared for, and most importantly he made me feel safe in his presence. He came right in the middle of a tornadoe and managed to turn it into blue skies. He changed my perspective and gave me hope and strength." I looked at him, and he was smiling, and his eyes were a little glossy. He took my hand and kissed it, a small tear caught in the corner of his beautiful eyes. "I thought, hey, maybe life isn't so bad after all. Maybe I can finally allow myself to love and be loved, and to live life normally. When we went to your party, you told me to wait for you. But then your perverted cousin made me feel super uncomfortable, so I went looking for you, just to be able to feel at peace again. And that's when I saw it." My heart beats skyrocketed, because this was the moment everything changed forever. "Saw what?" Asked Axel. I took a deep breath, and continued. It's now or never. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Sophia Grace is a 25 year old Forensic Science major who recently started working as a cashier at her local grocery store - "The Corner Store". Falling for Death
Book 1 in The Life and Death Duet This is the story of a boy who didn't think he could ever love somebody and a girl who definitely didn't believe in the idea of it. The story of Ace Morano and Harper Santos. They went from childhood friends to complete strangers due to an accident that cost them her memories of him and a broken heart on his part. Years later, they become friends. She now only knows him as the boy who's been known to be ruthless and cold, not the boy she'd known long ago. Could he help her remember? They were complete opposites, yet alike in some ways, but still got pulled together by an invisible yet strong force... Love. Was that enough? And most importantly, would that change both of their perspectives on it? Two souls living two completely different lives. With different pasts. With secrets they both refused to reveal. Could they make it? Will she fall for death before he can catch her? _______________________________ "Harper." he stated, blankly. His deep voice almost gave me a heart attack. I looked at him, slightly shocked. Wait- How does he know my name? Is he going to kill me? I gulped. "Ace." I muttered quietly and looked away, back to the river view. I sighed, taking it all in again. ©2021. Cynical Souls
COMPLETED✅ Two high school teenagers finding themselves, analyzing this ever changing world, and building love. This is the type of love you wish you found in high school but probably know way too well that it only exists as fiction. Today I'm turning my fiction to reality. ❣️•••❣️ Excerpt: Just as I was about to seek shelter under some building's roof, the tires of a car come to a halt, I wonder who might pity the lonely girl walking in the rain. The passenger window rolls down, and I spot the most unexpected person seated behind the wheel. "Get in" comes out his voice, and I must've stood there agape for a few moments because next comes his rhetorical question. "Are you getting in or continuing walking in the rain?" Eyebrows raised expectantly. He sounds annoyed, like he regrets his decision to ever stop and help me. ❣️•••❣️ #5 in cynical #2 in loveandfriendship #1 in opinionated #4 in ihatelife #10 in nerdgirl #10 in HighschoolRomance #26 in GoodGirlBadBoy *contains mature themes. *contains cursing.Abgeschlossen
