I get pulled back down the path that I was being led to anyhow. "They know what to do. They won't find us if we stay separated." I ran alongside my hidden pair. The moon is at its peak at night. It shows us the way. "It's not him I am worried about, Sunistral. It's her." I hear a sharp breath behind us. I swear it was! But it was disguised as a searing gust of cold wind. When I looked back, there was nothing. Just an endless pit of darkness. It was then that I knew that it had found us. This dream somehow finds me ever night. And every night I wake up in absolute confusion. I have no memory of my parents or where I came from. The only true constant of my existence is the visits that my nightmares make at night and during the day. I have yet to understand the echos of them. Until I find myself where it all began: at Pearl Academy.

I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
