Thirty days have gone by since the world was infected by an unknown disease, turning the citizens into blood thirsty zombies. It is a nightmare and there is becoming less and less places for those left to survive and thrive. Even worse, the creatures appear in waves and threaten to topple the entirety of civilization. Merlot Benson, Jaclyn Poole, and Axel Berry have been fleeing from place to place. A group of survivors have been living together and desperately trying to be safe. Now, the only thing worse than the creatures outside is the threat from within. Will there ever be an end? In this spin-off of the walking dead, nothing is as it seems and the dead will stop at nothing to get to the living.

The Battle of Memphis has ended, but it only gets worse and worse as winter draws near. What's going to happen when the zombies finally die off, but the Raiders are only growing more and more powerful? Nobody really knows for sure, but Jeremy isn't going to wait and find out. On top of this, William's injuries are dragging him down, and he's not sure whether it's safe for him to go on. He wants to stay at the camp, but he also knows that it's not going to last much longer, due to the lack of supplies and constant Raider threats. The future only has the answer, and escaping the rapidly cooling weather seems like the most logical choice. But what happens when this winter is the worst one in over fifty years?
