I'm gonna be honest, the only reason I'm writing this fanfic is because I'm listening to The Great War by Taylor Swift and I got inspired lmao.

But Sam and Colby are brothers and they have to face the rival kingdom. Sam was pulled aside by their parents and they asked him to watch over Colby during the war if they were to fight. Sam swore that he would protect Colby, but when a turn of events leads them to the center of the war, will Sam be able to protect Colby from everything?

In this fanfic, Sam is 17 and Colby is 16
