What a life of true freedom could look like. That is until she is kidnapped from her historical time period, brought to the future to be a servant for the rich and powerful. Any differentiating trait that made you dangerous in the eyes of those on top would be enough incentive to take advantage of one's powers. Those who were shunned as the minority have to make a choice, do we stand against the oppressor or remain divided and watch our brothers fall?
