Our story begins in Gotham City...
Erin is motherless. Homeless. And she inherits an empire.

Brought into the wealth of her "lost" family from the desolate, starving streets, Erin is discarded by her father, and snubbed  by her brothers, the murderous McKillen Family. 
To survive she must carefully tread between a line of enemies and friends, determined not to  follow in her family's footsteps. She finds comfort in discovering her mother's secret letters and her reclusive blood-brother.
Until love of the Family twists the rules she has carefully created, and she is  branded into the Family.

When Harvey Dent commits the ultimate betrayal, she reigns in the powerful hands of the Mob and sets on a path of vengeance.
