"Daryl!" You squealed as he tickled your sides. It was just you and him alone in the tent together. You were squealing and laughing. He loved every minute of it, he could see your beautiful smile and hear your laugh. He loved you. "Please. I'm gonna, I'm gonna pee." He stopped and laughed with you. As you caught your breath he leaned down and kissed you softly.

The first time you and him ever did anything like that. You smiled and kissed back. "Y/n." He whispered, leaning his forehead against yours. You loved him. As he whispered to you, your breath fanned his face. "Yeah?" You asked him quietly. He had let let out a soft exhale and swallowed softly. "Don't leave me." You sucked in a breath softly. You knew you couldn't promise him that. Not in This world. "Daryl, you know I can't promise you-." "Please Y/n, I'm vulnerable now. I can't loose ya', I lost Merle. I cannot loose you too." His accent faded for a slight second, you knew how hard he needed you then. Instead of saying anything, you leaned up to kiss him again. He didn't hesitate to kiss back. "I won't." You whispered against his lips.

That's where you crossed paths with none other than Carl Grimes. His distinct features remain engraved into your brain and despite thinking that love makes one grow weak; you begin to develop feelings for him. Regardless of what others may think, you continue to pursue him. However, when the group encounters various challenges that test loyalty, trust and courage, you wonder if it's actually meant to be. ... "Carl," he stops and looks at you. "Get away from her." "Why?" Carl simply asks. "Come here," Rick tells him. Carl looks over at you, then Rick. He shakes his head no. "I didn't ask you, I'm telling you." Rick grits his teeth. Carl reluctantly obeys. You watch him as he leaves eyes never loosing contact with his. Rick shuts the door cautiously. As soon as you hear it shut, you stroll over to the door and press your ear against the thin wood. You could hear Rick's faint voice. "Carl. Keep watch over her," he whispers. "She's dangerous." "What do you mean? She's a kid. Just like me. What makes her any different?" Carl defends you. Your heart begins to thud. He's protecting you. Just like what any and every body guard should do. ... A touching fanfiction decorated with intricate detail, heart-racing action scenes and a painful yet deliciously sweet storyline. I picked up every article of clothing as I heard the water streaming from behind the curtains. Folding her clothes near where she kept her shoes, I stripped off my clothes and stepped into the shower with her. My hands wrapped around her waist, as I stuck my face in the crook of her neck. I started to do a trail of kisses up to the back of the ear. The tension on her shoulders started to break slowly as I kissed each inch of her skin. I'd been so worried about how she is mentally doing since the death of Lori. She hadn't processed much after the little nugget was birthed. She jumped into action immediately after, coming with me to get formula, and didn't stop until we got back to our mattress. She didn't sleep much, and I followed her out as she let out what she had been holding all day. I also have been holding back something for the past couple of weeks. And I want to be able to tell her, but with everything going on, I'm not sure when it's the appropriate time. Hell, the words have never been formed in my mouth. Not even with my brother. So instead of talking verbally, I let myself speak physically. Her body turned to me, giving me a heated kiss. When I pushed her to the wall of the bathroom, it was game over for both of us. - - - The Walking Dead AU Daryl Dixon x OFC 𝐁.𝐃.𝐃. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐜 (𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝟏)

"Survive now. Cry later. " ♤ "Sweetheart, hush now" I whispered as we hid in the tiny mahogany closest, a small stream of light drifting in. He made a small whimper causing me to pull him closer to my chest as the footsteps got louder. Squeezing my eyes closed, I heard the squeaking of a floorboard as the light disappeared and an eye came into view. "Hey lil bro! Come see what I found!" A loud, raspy, harsh voice chuckled.
