On this world everyone's life length is measured by clocks. There is no way to escape your time, and those who's time is are found lifeless in the mornings. No trace is ever left behind, and no one knows how they vanish. Natural disasters always seem to be the reason. A burning home, a heart attack, a fall from a horse or carriage...until something strange occurs. In the remnants of a burning home something silver catches the eye of a young scavenger. Picking through the burning debris of a person who vanished earlier this morning, she discovers a silver dagger, with strange markings on it. Weapons like this weren't allowed in the city, even noble families aren't allowed to carry such weaponry, however a mysterious group has recently emerged. Could this be from the secretive assassins group the "Susudio"? And if so, are they the ones responsible for collecting the people whose time has run out?
