"Well this is awkward isn't it." He said while giggling but then stops to lock his eyes onto me.

"Now it's just the two of us without the rest of the group..but would this really count as a date?" He asked nervously with a trembling look on his hands probably thinking he's gonna get rejected.

"I guess it is.." I say looking down at the table.
