The story starts in Salem Town, late 1691. Charity Putnam, daughter of Ann and Thomas Putnam, visits her best friend, Abigail Williams, with her sister(Ann Putnam Jr.) often. These visits start with just reading scripture, but then Tituba, the Parris family's slave, begins to tell stories of witchcraft. Over the next year, the events of the Salem Witch Trials unfold. Everyone says the accusations are true, but what truly happens behind the scenes?
