"It's nice to appreciate the sweet things in life, right buddy? NOW WE CAN BE TOGETHER FOREVER AND YOU'LL NEVER LEAVE ME FOR DEAD AGAIN!!!!"

In a universe where humans, anthros, magic and technology co-exist. Marlowe finds himself in the very middle island of the world, Prando. Without any memories of how he ended up there or as to why he was there. The only thing he does know is that he's running from something... or someone, and it won't be long before it catches him again.

Luckily, Marlowe isn't alone in his journey, finding friends left, right up and down. Though some are more true than others. He might even find love again on his path down memory lane. Sadly all good things must come to an end, and the same could be said for the world he finds himself in unless he does something.

That isn't the end of the story however, no where close. Following events of more characters within other chronicles of their lives and perspectives in the past, present and future! Revealing more than just a new story from someone else... An entire arc of their life to fit the puzzle pieces together, until it comes full circle once again.

What happens when two heavily interconnected societies suddenly go to war out of nowhere? What happens when that war lasts for over 6 years? What happens when one side of the war is completely cut off from their home world? Kalimaria is a planet that was discovered a long time ago. Through ancient portal technology the planet was discovered by humans and earth. The inhabitants of this planet were a race of anthropomorphic alien creatures that resembled what most people in the modern age call "anthros" or "furries." Humanity, despite everything, managed to coexist and even integrate this highly intelligent alien species into our society and also help bolster the Kalimarian world's own technological advancements. For over 80 years the two species coexisted with only minor skirmishes between humans and Kalimarians occurring. That is until the war happened. A war that many question the true motives behind. Was it to protect the sovereignty of the Kalimarian species and its people? Was it to gain power and influence over people of the planet? This no one could truly answer. The war however started and all of humanity on that planet was stuck there as the portals that once allowed free travel between the two worlds was shut down. Scott Caine, a once proud member of the U.S. Army was now stuck here with the forces that had been cutoff from earth and the United States. A young man who had been forced to do things he shouldn't have had to do. A man given little choice in what life brought him.

I'm the crew's problem solver-the one they send on the hardest jobs. To them, I'm fearless, strong, unshakable. But the truth? I'm a coward, hiding secrets I pray no one ever uncovers. Everyone knows I'm terrified of the Zohra, the horned aliens that send chills down my spine. Yet, in a reckless moment, I agree to stay with the crew-near them. But my personal fears don't matter when a bigger threat emerges, one that could destroy everything. The mission takes us to my hometown, to a hidden lab filled with memories I swore I'd never face. And worse? I'm stuck infiltrating it with Harwal-a Zohra who reminds me of the monster that's haunted me for years. Surviving the mission is one thing. Surviving him-and the way he makes me feel-is another.
