This is the story of a girl who refuses to love after a horrible breakup and shuts everyone out except her few friends while a certain boy is determined to figure her out.

17 yr old , Davina Avalon Deveraux, has a mom thats only abusive to her and struggles to become the perfect child like her older siblings. Davina is the youngest in her complicated family tree. 

In 8th grade, she falls in love with Darrel Cerona but something goes wrong almost a year later. Freshman year and everyone at Melrose High School gives her a hard time which causes her to have even worse depression and suicidal thoughts.

First day of grade 11 and the new guy, Miles Forester, has her wrapped around his finger but she tries not to get too attached to him. He's the school's sweetest guy in her grade but no one knows his true side.

 What will happen between Davina and Miles? Is Miles really who he says he is?
