Matt couldn't live with himself anymore, he didn't know how to after that.
Everything seemed to be crumbling around him and he began to like it that way. He wasn't happy with life; it wasn't fair to him so he didn't want to be a part of any of it anymore. Everyone and everything around him was just awful in his opinion and he was running out of reasons to go on living. That is until his life becomes an actual fight for survival and the struggle becomes all too real.

Dark supernatural forces and strange creatures surround Matt as he awakens to find himself trapped underground with no memory of how he got there or why. With each floor testing his mind and his will to live, he discovers a part of himself he once thought long gone and begins to realise a deeper meaning to life. Taking him back to a time when he was happy, to a time when life still mattered and regrets didn't exist.

With his demise seemingly imminent at every turn, Matt must navigate the labyrinth above him and face his past and present in order to make it out alive.

Without warning it began! The inevitable, I think it's fair to assume this book is not in my possession. This means I'm most likely dead. Most nights I wrestle the reason I have chosen to explain what happened, the things we did to each other, things no human being should witness. I Wright this simply to enlighten your poor soul and give you more of a chance than I had. A chance to survive what is most likely the brink of human extinction. Times are harder now and as the days go by we are less of our former selves. We have become husks floating around in a lost, desolate world. I look at this place and it still seems so alien to me, as the days roll into the nights I'm still unsure of how we got to this point. If you are reading this, you too are probably North and very much aware of what has happened to our beloved city. I feel a responsibility to inform you that you will most likely share the same fate as I have. I understand you may be wondering what's worse than death, trust me in this place death seems like a paradise compared. I do not know why I still feel so obligated to write this. To be honest most nights I think its just an escape from the madness, like a natural sedative it's the only way I can fall asleep in this hell. However I do need to clear my conscious and pay dividend for my demons. I need you to know what happened to me; I need you to know what we have become and what we are capable of. I need you to know why we have chosen to kill each other, why the smell of human flesh lingers in the air like slow roast pork on a Sunday afternoon. Why bodies litter our streets. Why things that seemed to be so impossible happen in front of our very own eyes. Why conformity i this place is the unreal ideas people live their lives by and why I was included into this group of youthful abominations. All of this might be irrelevant compared to what I am about to tell you.

"Ever have one of those days where your whole world flips upside down?" I ask him, trying to explain without sounding crazy. "Yeah why?" this time he does shrug. "Well I'm having one of those days" I push off from the ground so that I'm now swinging. "That sucks, but you know what happens when the world turns upside down," he pauses for me to acknowledge his question "you get used to it being upside down, and after a while you don't notice anymore. Yeah sure the memory of how things used to be hurt's, but it gets better, I promise" he then kicks off to make his swing go back and forth. We swing for a little while before he turns to me "hey it's kind of late, aren't your parents concerned about where you are?" "They were expecting me home a long time ago" I say, he doesn't pick up the sad tone in my voice. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kaison had her whole life ahead of her, she was the top of her class, the boy next door was in love with her, and she had the best's friends that she could ask for. In doing so, they were low on supplies and had no choice but to seek out the next place to call home. And it is at the worst time to, with winter approaching quickly. Smaller groups who roam the city seem to hold up against this large group just fine, but rumours and sightings of strange beings roaming the city are echoed and repeated by various people. And it all seems to lead back to an abandoned pizzeria that has been shut down for years. But the two women would soon find themselves confronting one of these things. But it would not be a normal encounter. After all, this individual has had a lust for blood and all he loves to do is hunt and kill. However, it is at this encounter that he seems to find intrigue with one of the women. Mostly for how she handled the encounter like no one else has. And he would soon realize another side of his coin has arrived, and she had no idea. And thus, while women attempt to leave, they find that they have unintentionally become intertwined with something that has now secured their fate to the ruined city. And for one, undead animatronic, this has become favorable to him. And for another, golden animatronic, the perfect storm to keep unfolding his plan of torment for one William Afton.
