The campers had one order; if he didn't make it by sunrise, leave. None of them wanted to go with that plan. When their leader didn't make it back to the dock by sunrise; they, guilt ridden and saddened, left. If they did by chance make it to Costa Rica, the first thing they planned to do is go back to Isla Nublar and find their friends.

During their time alone in the Dino-ridden island, Ben and Darius found out about some shared feelings. If it was any constellation, it might be the only reason they're still alive.
