When days worth of long, unfinished work come knocking on Kaeya's door, he could only beg that some sort of entertainment would come and deny such a tedious day. Luckily, a familiar, (yet irritated) blonde alchemist is there to question the weary knight's actions.

When The Storm Begins || Heikazu
"You don't even know how much I'd give to be handcuffed by a handsome detective." Heizou spread his arms in a dramatic gesture. Kazuha seemed taken by surprise, but quickly recovered and a lazy smile came to his lips. "I'm not a detective, but I may have an idea." Huh? "What do you mean?" Heizou swallowed. "If you feel like it, visit me tomorrow. I can show you something, although I don't know if it counts as 'handcuffing'." HUH?! *There ARE scenes 18+, you've been warned. Stardust
"I wish you wouldn't be so suicidal. It's bad for Klee." Albedo said, dragging his pencil along the sketch. Albedo ignored Kaeya's scoff, continuing on. "You needed to move on. Master was right that you were clinging to the past." "Don't tell me what I needed." Kaeya hissed. "The Abyss is on our doorstep now, whether we like it or not." "You needed to let Khanri'ah die." "I needed you." - The Calvary Captain cannot outrun the consequences of the Cataclysm forever. The Traveler is missing and the Call of the Abyss grows stronger by the day. Fuck what everyone else says. If you ask Kaeya, a healthy dose of cynicism and emotional avoidance are valid ways to cope with juggling an ex-soulmate, estranged brother, and outlander running their mouth about "Prince Kaeya." The Chalk Prince (Kaebedo)
Mondstadt was destroyed. Everyone had a hard time getting themselves back together. Their homes were gone, family members dead. Everyone grieved, everyone sad. Even still to this day, Mondstadt will never be the same. - Deep under the Knights of Favonious Head Quarters is a boy. Well, he really isn't a boy. He isn't even human. He's blindfolded and gagged, bound to the wall. He never moves, never speaks. He's been like that for 10 years. Kaeya found out about him on complete accident. He was with Klee that day and she had wanted to explore the Headquarters. It was a harmless request, so Kaeya, being the fabulous babysitter he is, agreed. They went too deep down. Kaeya should have known it was dangerous by the winding halls and the lack of light. But Klee persisted on going farther. Until they stumbled upon a small boy. He sat in a prison cell unmoving. Klee thought he was dead. They told Jean, who in turn, asked Varka who that boy was. He told them that he was dangerous. He needed to be kept down there. He was the reason for the destruction of Mondstadt 10 years ago. !DISCLAIMER!: I do not own any of the characters in this book, they all belong to MiHoyo's Genshin Impact.
