Izuku Midoriya grew up imprisoned in an underground hideout, knowing nothing but pain and misery. That all changes one day when he is saved by an overly enthusiastic blonde and brought to a home with other kids his age that have all lived hard lives.

Shy, and untrusting, how will all the other kids get closer to the new boy, getting him to smile once again. What will happen when his tormentors go after him and memories start to resurface, bringing to light connections he has with some of the other kids? Will every one make it out unharmed? Will the keep the smile on his face?

I don't own any of these characters. They belong to Kohei Horikoshi. Just the storyline is mine. In addition, I don't own any of the images I use, they belong to the amazing original artists.

Background:
In this story, I have changed everyone's ages slightly, so don't be surprised when they aren't the same as the manga, also, I did not include everyone from class 1-A in the story, sorry not sorry. This story will also not have any quirks. 

As a warning, this story does include abuse, depression, flashbacks and trauma. So be cautious as you read if these topics are triggering for you.
Rated mature for violence.
