--- Sequel to Hero by Heart --- Link and Zelda have started restoration of Hyrule, and are well on their way to establishing a peaceful, prosperous rule. But what neither of them expected was to uncover secrets that might have been better left hidden. After everything they have been through, it seems like they still can't catch a break, and danger is ever close, lurking around every corner. **Disclaimer: I started this story after the first trailer for TotK, so this is loosely based on those events, but will tell a very different story. There might be a few coincidental similarities, but this story is purely based on my imagination.

Book 1: The Couple Series The Calamity Ganon no longer plagues the land of Hyrule, at least, not that the hero, Link, or the princess, Zelda, is aware of. After defeating the Calamity, our heroes consult with Impa, who informs them that due to the extensive damage, the prospect of rebuilding an entire kingdom is simply unfeasible. Opting to live regular lives as simple villagers in this new era, Link and Zelda choose to make their home in Hateno Village. However, neither one can ignore one issue they've noticed: even with Calamity Ganon sealed, his monsters still roamed the land. Choosing to investigate, Link prepares Zelda for travel in this new wild-covered land. After receiving a letter from King Dorephan regarding a malfunction with Vah Ruta, the two embark on their quest to investigate the remaining monsters and the error with the Divine Beasts, while also learning and acting upon the feelings they had set aside for so long. Little do they know, someone may be guiding them toward something far more challenging than they realize. Prince Link fears he can never live up to his mother's expectations. Zelda has just been knighted into the Royal Guard. When Link unwittingly unleashes a horror upon Hyrule, Zelda must protect this foolish prince and help him defeat the impending evil that is lurking in Hyrule. A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild Hyrule, and to convince others to help will take a lot of work from Link and Zelda. Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon. Hyrule needs a hero, and that hero happens to be Link. Takes place after Breath of the Wild. The cover photo isn't mine! All character rights go to Nintendo, but the plot is mineee!
