Luna suffers anorexia and depression. Everyday, she's abused physically and emotionally by her boyfriend, Mark. He constantly cheats on her and kicks her out, sometimes for weeks at a time. At work, she's paid minimum wage by her obese boss who tries to push himself on her whenever he can. Feeling hopeless, Luna turns to bars, hook ups, pills, and razors to make herself feel better. One day, an extremely handsome man offers her a chance to audition for a new girl group. All she would have to do is write and compose a song to perform - and of course - perform it. Luna spends days preparing the song and from that, she realizes, that maybe, she's doing something wrong. Maybe she needs to change and leave Mark. But, old scars don't heal so easily.
