Here begins a tale not yet told, a story unlike any other, a story that began long ago in land far away. A land where beasts of legend roamed the lands and where all sorts of different races such as amazons, humans, elves, and dwarfs all lived in peace for what seemed like forever, only for it to be shattered by the actions of a malevolent force of evil, marking the beginning of a full scale war. The dead will rise, the wicked will scheme, and untold evil will prey on the weak and innocent. However, where there is evil, there are those who will stand up against the forces of darkness and will make it their mission to restore peace and order for the sake of the world they all share in.

{COMPLETED} The stars disappeared seventeen years ago. A black night sky has mirrored a bleak existence for the people of Auros. The Gifted, humans with unique abilities to affect the world around them, have all but become extinct thanks to the dark reign of a usurper. And somehow Zephyr Elvy has managed to live her nineteen years in the blissful quiet of a small town next to the sea. Zephyr has always been content to keep to herself, and happy to live a simple, if uneventful, life. If only the universe had that in mind for her. Forced to flee the only place she has ever called home, Zephyr finds herself running through a world she has only ever read about, along with two soldiers who have deserted their posts to keep their consciences clean. With only a letter and a mysterious weapon as clues to why she's being hunted, Zephyr must face her own fears while discovering a whole new world of terrors at the hands of a queen she knows next to nothing about. Having never risked anything her entire life, Zephyr is forced to choose between apathy or action, hiding and keeping to herself, as she has always done, or taking a leap that could change the world she is just now getting to see. ***** Thank you SO MUCH for reading! I'm updating every Monday until this story is done, and I've been sitting on this one for almost three years so I'm really excited to finish it! I don't have any beta readers for this as I write, so please let me know if you notice anything, and I mean ANYTHING, that needs fixing! :)

In the land of Sevaran, the world is divided into six nations, each unique in its people, culture, and natural resources. Among them, Vel rises as the most infamous and prosperous nation, now basking in the spoils of a recent and brutal war. Its cities glimmer with wealth, reflecting the cold, ruthless nature of its leader, King Dave, who wields the element of metal with a power unmatched by any other ruler. The war, a decade-long clash over control of resources, ravaged the lands of Ruki, Mason, and Cinder Moor. Vel's insatiable hunger for dominance was fed by its allies, Aura and Jenta, who provided supplies, soldiers, and intelligence in exchange for Vel's promise of wealth and territory. Together, the three nations formed a triumvirate of power, conquering their enemies with brutal efficiency. While Aura and Jenta thrived as Vel's subordinates, Ruki and Mason fell into economic despair, their people struggling under the weight of forced tribute and constant surveillance by Vel's iron-clad soldiers. Cinder Moor suffered the worst. Their people, known for their resilience and unmatched strength, put up a fierce resistance. Stories of rebellion spread through the downtrodden lands, passed from village to village in Cinder Moor, Mason, and Ruki. They speak of an uprising that will challenge Vel's dominion. Among the ruins of Cinder Moor, a group of villagers gathers in secret, their eyes burning with the promise of vengeance. They vow to fulfill the prophecy and ignite a rebellion that will turn the tide against Vel's metal-fisted rule. And so, the seeds of resistance are sown, with hope igniting in the hearts of those who have lost everything. Unbeknownst to King Dave, a storm is brewing-a storm that threatens to dismantle the very foundation of his empire. As the prophecy foretells, the nations will rise against him, and a new leader will emerge from the ashes of Cinder Moor. The question remains: who will answer the call and become the harbinger of change?

How I Leave You

50 parts Complete Mature

It is as though Ilwien seeks out trouble with the hope that, among it, she might find adventure, too. But one day, it is a dwarf they call Thorin Oakenshield she finds instead. And perhaps that will be the worst trouble of all... After losing her people in a brutal attack centuries ago, Ilwien does not hesitate to join a company of dwarves on a journey through which she might reclaim her homelands. She soon learns, however, that the leader of the company, a dwarf they call Thorin Oakenshield, seems set on hating her merely for the nature of her being. The question arises of who might manage to detest the other more, but then everything is turned upside down when Ilwien saves the dwarven king's life... How I Leave You is the book I have always wanted to read, but after years of being unable to find anything resembling it, I decided to create it myself. We have all read a good Thorin fic before. So I wanted to write a great one. 23/11/2021: #1 in thorinoakenshield 05/01/2022: #2 in thehobbit
