In a world where nymphs, sprites, and borrowers are known to exist, Sage Burton is the only fairy known to be alive. 

After a traumatic childhood, Sage is finally content with her life in the kingdom, The Hollow. She has earned the loyalty and respect from the nymphs as their commander and gained an excellent reputation around the forest.

However, a routine patrol for Sage turns into a fight for her life in the middle of a harsh blizzard, only to wake up in a giant house with two human brothers; Cade and Arthur, who have their own issues. Leaving Sage the difficult decision to trust the strange giants or escape.
