Ideas of 'The Coming Apocalypse,' never struck anybody as being serious.
This would be our downfall.
On the 26th of April, 2017, a scientist was found dead in his laboratory, after he had been left behind after hours to do some work. His colleagues refused to tell the public what they were working on. If that wasn't suspicious enough, the same, supposedly dead scientist was seen walking around London the following week.
Those who saw him could only describe his appearance as 'corpse-like,' and that he didn't walk, he 'shambled.'
This was a sign.
This was the beginning of the end.

Rumors have been flying ever since a group of scientist in the Feet City who were capable on the unsuccessful attempt of the nuclear experimentation. It wasn't bad enough that Ben was homeless. Having a dead family nearly killed him before. Until he learned to live alone on the docks and streets, scavenging for food and supplies just to stay alive. He was actually doing well. Then, he saw the bodies washed up on the beach. They said that "Changing is part of LIFE.", at least that's what the CSD (Change and Save Department) used to say. They thought they created a "cure". A cure to save many people's lives from sickness, cancer, and all. Unfortunately... They were wrong. It was fine at first... However, their first test subject? It was for no good. Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies". The CSD promised that they'll find a cure, but much-lost hope, lost hope for being alive, lost hope for survival. A 17 yrs. the old girl was in between that. Everything might sound and look horrible but she never lost hope for survival. "I'm running out of food.." she kept on talking to herself since there was no one but her. She saw a grocery store nearby so she checked it out if there were food, and fortunately, there was. She stuffed the food in her bag until she heard something. "Is someone there?" She asked, she hoped it wasn't what she thought about but there it was. The zombie's legs were twisted so it will have a hard time catching her. However, she never encountered that close. She stuffed the last food in her bag and ran. She ran to the girl's restroom. When she opened the door there were zombies! It almost caught her but fortunately, nothing happened to her. She ran back but there were more! "Please don't say this is how I'm going to die!" She said to herself. Is she going to die? Who will she meet? Will they survive this cruel world?? The Apocalypse
The ice deep in the north has melted to reveal a new world hidden under the ice. It holds vegetation and animals that seem unworldly when compared to ours, but hidden in the deepest part of this world is another cave with the oldest surviving strains of an ancient bacteria capable of taking host of dead creatures and reanimating them into beasts worse than before. This strain had grown weak over the ages and was nearly extinct, but the human immune system, never being exposed to this, caused the strain to thrive inside its new unexpecting host and spreads out to the world. It starts small, just a speck on the hands of a few people, but soon, it spreads to door handles, pens, books, chairs, things like that. It continues spreading and now has infected its first corpse, the remains of an ant. This new creature comes and spreads to that ant's nest and then to the animals that eat them. Before less than a month passed, the virus had spread to a graveyard in the hidden grottos of the Yukon. This virus, now able to think from the new minds of fresh bodies, can strategize. In only another week, the epidemic had spread to the northern edge of the United States. Spreading further and further in, people began to notice this strange happening. From people disappearing to entire towns popping out of existence, the bacteria continued to spread. To keep order, the governments had those who disappeared erased from existence, but it wasn't enough. The takeover of those long gone happened in less than three weeks and society collapsed. Spreading overseas, it began its removal of life in Europe, but that's a story for another day. We now come to those few remaining settlements in the collapsed U.S, now called The Crumbled Land. "As of now people are dying evidently people become depressed and aggressive to one and other. They all used to live in harmony and happiness, that was until the 'things started to raise. The 'things' are as you would call it zombies but of greater skill. They disguise themselves as humans yet they will not hesitate to kill you and eat you. If someone is a 'thing', automatically presume them dead, or at least soon to be dead. It will always take about 2 weeks to become fully changed, hopefully you can chop of that body part in time for the infection to stop. If you can't, put an end to your soon to be painful and horrible turn/death. These beings as I announced only a moment ago, look exactly like a human, two way to tell if they are one or not, their attitude and their eyes. They don't have emotions, only hunger and let me tell you, they will go out of their way to eat you, they will speak but it will sound different... Deformed almost. The eyes are usually the first to become infected, they become slightly red at first, as time progresses so does the intensity of the color red in the eye. The color in their eyes they once possessed, will seem dull, it will seem as if they are unfocused or unfamiliar with their surroundings. Many people blame the attack on drugs, like "bath-salts", but if only they knew the truth. They couldn't find bath-salts in the man's system. He tested positive for LQP-79. The Miami officials deny any existence of this virus, but they don't realize that keeping this dirty secret is going to bite them later. LQP-79 seems to have been forgotten, until ten years later. Years later, people attack Jerusalem, and declare war against the Jews. This makes God extremely angry. When LQP-79 resurfaces in 2022, ten years later, as a result of God's wrath, people scramble to find a cure, knowing that this virus is extremely capable of becoming airborne.
