So, here's the deal. You have juvie. Right? Yeah. We all know about juvie, the prison for kids. What we don't all know about, is Diggory's Shelter for Troubled Children. A form of juvie for some of the most talented and dangerous underaged criminals. Now that's where I was going. Why was I going here? Well, there were a few reasons, but that isn't important. What is important, was how my life took a turn after the fateful day that I didn't run fast enough, and my arms were almost ripped out because a policeman yanked my backpack. It was a downhill spiral from there but I found myself at Prison Camp. Aka Diggory's Shelter for Troubled Children. Sounds like fun, right? Wrong.

I didn't come here to make friends. I came to the academy to start a war. Luxbridge Academy isn't what they all think it is: a prestigious school created to right the wrongs of troubled kids. It's built to turn people like me into weapons-cold, obedient, deadly. And I was ready for that. What I wasn't ready for was him. My rival. My roommate. My biggest mistake. He's reckless, infuriating, impossible to ignore, and the one person I can't afford to distract me. But in a place where pain is currency and loyalty gets you killed, he became my only real ally. We were never meant to trust each other. Never meant to care. Definitely never meant to fall. But we did. We escaped the cage. We thought that was the end. It wasn't. Because fate doesn't break the rules. It breaks you.
