After years of working hard toward getting his big break into the music industry, an exceptionally talented Levi Novak's success looks very promising. That is, until one day, Levi begins to experience unexplainable symptoms that make his life literally spin out of control.

Diagnosed with Meniere's Disease, a debilitating vestibular disease, he suffers a series of losses-his music career is over, he loses his job as an elementary school teacher, his girlfriend leaves him. When the treatments have failed, Levi is left with one last resort option that he doesn't want, a bilateral labyrinthectomy, which will ultimately leave him completely deaf.

Unable to accept his illness and struggling to come to terms with his losses and the difficulties of daily life living with Meniere's Disease, Levi falls into a deep depression. One day, he hires Daisy, a breathtakingly beautiful woman with a big heart and the patience to match who has been deaf since birth, to teach him sign language, but does she end up teaching him more than sign language and his transition into the deaf and hard of hearing community? Does something more develop between them?
