As of for her daughter, Uther sent her away to another kingdom far away from Camelot so there's more of a chance that Morgana will never find her. Little did Uther know, Morgause knew about this, so she planned to spread word about this to her sister Morgana when the time is right. Soon enough, Morgause and Morgana found eachother. The secret has been told and Morgana was devestated. That is when she became the evil Morgana. Since then, everything has changed. Everyone has changed. He saw advancements in science and the beginning of technology. Merlin saw so much of the modern world. And then one day, he saw his friend again.

One day, some of them mentiones how Merlin always seems involved. Which is why Gwaine made it his mission to make Merlin the travel Cryptid. Why is he stealing dresses? How come he suspects someone of treason and the next day they find them dead with evidence of their treason around? After some time of this game called: connecting the dot's it becomes a thing.
