"Look I'm sorry." Regulus said, trying his hardest not to cry. "Sorry isn't going to cut it, Regulus." James fired back, trying (if possible) harder than regulus not to burst out into tears.
"Well, I don't know what to say." Regulus had really given up all hope, as the pair stood in silence, on the astronomy tower. He looked down, over the railing. The railing was the only obstacle in his way of freedom.

His chest felt like it was being ripped out, his throat being scratched violently by the attack of petals climbing up. James stared down at him, an unknown expression on his face but Regulus didn't have time to study him. He tried to hide the petals but he knew he was to late. James had already seen them, and he could see the obvious splatter of blood on his chin. "What the fuck just happened? Are those sunflowers?" James once again tried to reach out to him, going for his hands, wanting to get a closer look, but Regulus snatched his hands away and took a few more steps back. "You- you didn't see that, do you hear me? You didn't see it" And before he knew it, he was already at the bottom of the astronomy tower stairs, leaving James standing in the middle of the tower.
