Play with Fire (Bonten AU)

I ran as fast as I could. The footsteps that chased me came closer and closer. I had to speed up or they would catch me! I didn't even have time to breathe as I ran faster and faster. I felt that I was running out of strength, but fear and adrenaline gave me strength, and that's why I didn't stop despite the exhaustion and pain. Fresh blood flowed down my wounded arm and fell to the ground, leaving a trail of blood behind me.
"Agh-!" I didn't even have time to scream when someone grabbed me by the collar and dragged me into a dark alley. Then a cold hand pressed to my mouth and I felt their breath near my ear.
"Don't move and be quiet!" the person commanded me in a cold voice and I obeyed as I was too exhausted to resist any longer. I don't know how much time passed, but slowly and surely, the adrenaline drained from my body and pain flooded my whole body.
"Ne-ne, who are-...?" That was the last thing I heard from the stranger that saved me before I lost my consciousness.

Aiya Sabozuku, an eleven-year-old girl with a completely shitty life. To make it worse, her parents are in a huge debt that they are unable to pay and therefore they decide to sell her to get money. Aiya finds it out and finally decides to run away. But she was too slow and the men to whom she was supposed to be sold are chasing her. She is then rescued by a mysterious man with silver hair. Can Aiya trust him? Can he protect her?
