Flag-faces (Countryhumans Story [CH AU])

You all know your race. European, African, Asian...
But in this universe, there is one more race.
Flag-face. Silly name, isn't it? It's a word used to express 'Countryhumans' in a way that helps suppress the confusion between a 'country human' and a 'Countryhuman'.
These people are almost seen as royal, having lots of power to themselves. They helped govern and rule countries, while having their designated flag. Imagine seeing your own face flying as a 'piece of cloth'.

During one certain day, the 'normal people' decide that they have had enough of the dejection everyone was facing, and decided to hunt all of the flag-faced people down, all to kill and imprison them, while taking away their glory. They started with the almighty United Kingdom.
But when did they consider that their targets had feelings and hopes? That not all of them are as bad as they are depicted?
