sasuke knew of her existence ever since he was twelve years old. he admired the strength she had and how she could take down an s-ranked criminal with only her pinky finger. it wasn't until he was older that he understood why she was so strong. she was .. a weapon after all. a tool for the leaf village. and, much like how he was trying to atone and find some sort happiness .. he felt like she deserved happiness too. if he deserved to give her such a thing would be another story entirely.
