Averi is a shy, caring, and closed off girl. She only lets few near her heart, and doesn't give many second chances.
Ben is the out-going, popular, and loud guy everyone loves. He hasn't opened up to anyone since Averi and he doesn't plan to.
They were best friends in kindergarten until suddenly they weren't. Ben started giving Averi the cold shoulder, or he would make fun of her. This went on until one party in their senior year.
Everything was different during that party. The question is why. Why did Ben go from ignoring Averi's mere presence, to not being able to stay away from her?

She thought he was perfect, but perfect doesn't exist. Alex had never been in love. Never been kissed. Never even held a boy's hand.
