It started with Aether Entities, when Mark's stepbrother got him a job at the town's small science laboratory. Much like the name, the place didn't quite make sense.

And much like everything  that didn't make sense in Lotus Valley, the place was magic.

Mark and Diana Caldwell, now in their 30's, thought they were done with Aether a long time ago, but they couldn't have been more wrong. Now they're struggling to balance Aether with their two kids and the rest of their life, waiting on edge for something to happen.

When their world is turned upside-down, it isn't their fault. It's Henry Castor's, Mark's brother who the Caldwells thought they could trust. But because of him, they're shoved into an impossible situation with no good answer.

Mark is forced to take responsibility for his brother's actions and stop Aether Entities from causing mass destruction. But as always with magic, it comes with a price.
