"Do you have to go? There isn't another way?" "I am sorry My Moon, I wish there were, but it is the only way to ensure your safety and the safety of our son. I love you..." "I love you, My Sun... So much... please... I beg of you, please......" That was the last time I was able to admire the man who showed me that life was worth living, I watched him leave, his golden locks taking form with every step of his boots. The familiar sound of him barking orders to men who were following him, willingly to their deaths. My heavy body seemed to take on a mind of its own as I ran to the balcony everything seemingly blending together. "No! My Sun! Please, no!!!" this was a battle I knew he would not return from; I would not be able to tend to his wounds. I wouldn't even have a body to bury. My tears blurred my vision as I watched the palace gates descend for the final time.

Uncovered

He slammed me against the wall, his face angry. "Don't think for a second that you can try to get inside my head." He growled, breathing heavily. A moment of silence passed between us where I could feel the tension in the air. I looked down, afraid of what was going to happen. "It's too dark for you," he whispered, letting me go. With that, he swung the door open without looking back and left. ---------------------------------------------------------- For the longest time, I felt like I was broken. Like I was living my life like a robot, knowing the actions but feeling nothing. Then, one day, I felt whole again. I felt like I knew my destiny and why I was where I was. It's because I had a secret life. I had a life, a family. I had a guy who loved me. There was just one problem. I didn't remember any of them.
