"What do you mean?"
"I lied to you, Aarthi," I stared at him.
"About what?" My voice trembled when I asked that. I am not clueless about his deceits, I just pretend not to notice that for all these days.
"Everything," Vijay smiled. That's the height of evil I have seen in my life.
I don't know what to say, I don't know what to do. I just looked into his dark eyes wondering why I had failed to notice all of this. It is my fault, maybe it's not. He's a good liar and I am a scared fool.
Aarthi and Vijay's lives seem to have gotten a perfect ending... Aarthi felt that way when Vijay assured her they will be happy from now on. That's one of the wrong assumptions she again made in her life. Nothing has changed, it has gotten worse to her dismay.
