This book is about the Rul. K. family or for short the Rue family. They are one of five families in The Nation of Fia. The Rue family are the first inhabitants of the land, their family has a long history and strong ties to them. They still keep their traditions alive, but over the eras new leaders have been making changes to try and keep up with the times. The Rue's are known for having great leadership gifts and have something that makes them captivating for good or bad. People just can't stop watching them waiting to see what they will do next.
The Nation of Fia doesn't rely on on outside resources or outside nations. The families divided the power, by ruling over their own lands but as a whole the Rue family is in charge. The land in the nation are ruled by each family, and all families are led by the Rue family. The family heads can only be chosen by blood relation.
Each family has their own gift or as we call it talents and skill sets. The Alexy family of Detroit are the helpers and provides assistance for all the families. The Conroy family of Boston educates and trains for defense's and standard education, they protect the families. The Blackwell family of Chicago are the tortures and handles technology for the families. The love to tinker and make tools. The Alice family of Baltimore are the scientists and doctors, that handle medical help for the families, they love to experiment and create new ways in healthcare and biochemistry.
