Grayson Draven has lived his whole life in the dark. Ever since his alcoholic father passed away 3 years ago, Grayson's mother has been taking her rage out on him. Grayson hides what's going on inside with a large, hard wall that keeps everyone out- well, almost everyone. As hard as he tries to keep everyone out, he grew up with Axel and Odette Thompson. Axel became his best friend and Odette became off limits.
Odette Thompson is Graysons best friends (slightly entitled and definitely full of sass) younger sister. Only one year younger than them, Odette has always managed to make Grayson feel...something, but her older brother, Axel, has made it perfectly clear that nothing can ever happen between her and Grayson. Odette knows what she wants, what she has always wanted, but she also knows her brother. Axel could never know what Odette's heart wanted, even more, he could never find out her deepest secret- she cut herself. She lived almost as a shell of herself. No one could make Odette feel anything, and the one person who can she could never have.
When Odette's brother dies in a tragic, noble accident, Grayson is left to take care of Odette, who shows up on his doorstep a day after the funeral a trainwreck. Grayson knows he has to stay away from her; her obnoxiously beautiful laugh, the enchanting shade of blue of her eyes, her perfect auburn hair. He has to respect his best friends wishes...but Odette is a siren, calling out him and Grayson doesn't know how long he can last before he gives into her enchanting song.
Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd)
Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
