Jaypaw, ThunderClan's newest Medicine Cat trainee, has just discovered something - he's in love with Hazeltail, a young she-cat who was made a warrior alongside Jaypaw's own siblings Hollyleaf and Lionblaze. As he struggles between his love for her and the Medicine Cat code, which forbids a romance involving a Medicine Cat, he finds himself in a love triangle as he realizes Mousewhisker, Hazeltail's brother, is in love with Jaypaw.
