High school unusual

A girl named Lexie has always been sort of a loner.
She does have a best friend named Kim, who just so happens to be the most social person you could find.

Kim is trying to convince Lexie to break out of her non-social cacoon and go out with a new kid at school.

In doing this, will all of Lexie's fears come true? Will she even attempt to have a life filled with multiple friends Or will she just stay in her cacoon?

Lexie will find out what it is like to have all of her nightmares become a reality when she finally exists her little shell and enter the real world
