The door knob was at a hand stretch. She gulped up every last bit of mettle left in her and opened the door, poking her head through a bit. She looked around and saw nothing was out there, she stepped out a bit and still nothing, by now feeling more at ease with the situation.She stepped out even more, leaving a clear distance between her and the door.
A smile crept up her face and she snickered a little, she thought that her imagination was really insane.
"You finally came out." A husk voice echoed behind her. Lea stood there in fear, not knowing what to do, she turned around to get a better glimpse at the guy behind her. Her eyes popped out when she she saw a familiar pair of eyes, grining from ear to ear. It was Bryce, one of the popular guy at their school.
"What took you so long." He continued, her mouth still wide opened she had no idea on how she should react, her body felt numb, her mouth, to tired to speak. Bryce noticed her reaction and came out of the shadows on the wall,
Lea never noticed the difference in their height before, probably because she only took quick glances of him from afar and never met him up close, maybe that was why she felt a little intimated by his height.
His eyes slowly drifted away from her, as he's new attention was focused on her scattered hair and shivering body. He let's out a grin and says,
