So, this story contains my head cannons of what happens after the good ending of Omori. There will be spoilers. Will Hero ever forgive Sunny? Will Sunny be okay after moving away? Can Basil ever heal? I am going to explore these questions in this story. I am also introducing OCs and ships.

I'm discontinuing this because I'm rewriting this, since it's badly written and I just wanna add things that I can't in this version. Basically what I imagine happens after OMORI. Sunny had told everyone the truth, and now he's seen as being a murderer. Kel is the only one who believes Sunny, and has to figure out how to prove to Aubrey and Hero that Sunny is innocent. Meanwhile, Omori is alive but trapped in the place in Sunny's mind where forgotten memories go, and with each memory he sees he begins to question who he is and if he is still needed. Little does he know, Headspace is in ruin and the only way to save it is to reset it, which only Omori can do. The only problem: Only the Dreamer can bring Omori back. But will the Dreamer even want Omori to return after everything he's done? And if that isn't enough, someone from the past is returning, with only one thing on their mind: revenge. So yeah. This is the first time I've ever written anything this long, but I love OMORI and wanted to write this, because there's TOO MANY questions in the end. So please bear with me. Just so you know, I ship Suntan, so this will have Suntan in it. But even if you don't ship Suntan I hope you still read and enjoy it. One last thing: I got the idea for this after reading Omori: What Comes After by @EpsilonofExcellence so there will be some similarities, but the story is mostly mine. I had a whole heartfelt thing typed out but my phone hates me so it's gone..Uhm...I wanted to delete this completely because I don't like it, but I know how much it meant to me when I started back in January of 2023. sooo I wanted to write somethin about the aftermath of omori so here we go by the way warning this will be a more twisted way for things to go in the story so be prepared for that. Sunnyxbasil = perfection also I obviously dont own omori, just putting that there cause you know ;/ Also, also just got #1 on omori tag as of feburary 26, I don't really know how this works but that is an exciting mile stone I think, so..... OMARI: When He Wakes
After taking the last step off the Hospital Roof, Sunny wakes up in what seems to be a different reality. One where he saved Mari but ended up in a 4 year Coma because of it, and at the cost of his right eye. How have things here changed from what he remembers? Are they better or worse? Is this really a new reality? And if it isn't, and this is all just another dream...when will he wake?

SPOILERS!!! Also, OMORI is no way mine. OMORI is owned by OMOCAT and the team of OMORI. If you didn't know, OMORI is a psychological horror game, even if the game doesn't seem horror, it is. OMORI contains depictions of depression, anxiety and suicide, and may not be suitable for you to play, but it also might. This little thingy thing isn't supposed to be so horror-ish and is more for comfort. Heromari deserved more...... Mari X Hero Wattpad story, it also mostly concentrates on Mari's and Hero's relationship, which may be confirmed as a partially romantic relationship. Also, funny thing, I lied. Yes, it's mostly heromari, but I also sometimes concentrate on other relationships like sunburn or concentrate on things like sunny's mom and other possible scenarios. At the End of the Week - {Suntan}
!!This fanfic has MAJOR spoilers from Omori!! Kel is entering high school again with his friends. As little time goes on, the feelings he had for Sunny when they were younger had suddenly returned. How will he deal with these feeling? Things that should be kept in mind: This takes place in the point of view of Kel (So it is 1st person POV), this is a modernized alternative of the main story, and these events are taking place after Mari's death in the real world.
