Varian grew up as an esteemed young and dangerous soldier pledged with the oath of the brotherhood to forever protect the moonstone from the clutches of evil. When king Edmund entrusts the young warrior to spy on the traveling caravan, supposably trying to follow the back rocks back to the kingdom of darkness, he was ready to take on the task. But when all his training and sworn ideals of the brotherhood are thrown out the window, he must find himself to face the perils ahead.
