A duck aids an injured canary as they both prepare to fly south for the winter.
With the winter season under way, everyone is making preparations. This includes hibernation, migration, and adaptation. Wilbur, a young duck, is preparing to head south with his family, while Lotte, a young wild canary, is preparing to leave with her family. But their paths meet when both collide during flight, resulting in Lotte injuring one of her wings. Guilt-ridden by his reckless actions, Wilbur is forced to accompany Lotte in agreement between their folks before the migration. During Lotte's recovery, the pair begin to develop a wholesome friendship.
"Maybe you don't understand it yet."
