((This is targeted to people 16+)) The smell of blood was overwhelming. The scent of the short teen used to have was gone, replaced with the putrid smell of death and rot that covered the whole room and the killer himself. Blood smudged all over the teen and onto the older man as he attempted to escape. He got hungry and tired. He just wanted to eat and then sleep. He was preparing the girl, cutting her body apart and tearing the flesh off the bones, which is why the room was such a mess with her blood. Now, he had the boy in his hands. The hunger overtook him. The sharp pain of large "canine" teeth being plunged into his neck made Cameron scream. It was cut short, his whole body freezing up as the crazy man sunk his large fangs into his neck, ripping a large chunk of the boy's flesh in between his teeth. The pain only got worse when he felt the killer tug harshly, pulling his flesh out... ----- A gang of delinquents becomes lost in a forest, pursued by a frightening masked figure. He hunts them down individually, resembling a stalking wolf, wielding a crude knife fashioned from animal bones. As they struggle to survive, the teens also grapple with the harsh environment that challenges them. Throughout their ordeal, they discover more about one another, forming deeper connections as they begin to share their lives with one another. ----- ⚠️ WARNINGS ⚠️: - Gore, violent description of violence, - Cannibalism(not shown but alluded), - Death, - Descriptions of PTSD and trauma, - Abusive parents, mistreatment of children, - Foul, harmful language, - Nothing is real, this is a work of fiction,

What could possibly go wrong? ***** She is Ember. A closed-off and secluded girl with far too many secrets - one being that she's a supernatural mythical mix of a Phoenix that she is desperately trying to control. As her abilities develop, it feels like she's running out of time to control the Phoenix before the fire breaks loose and hurts someone she loves. He is Theo. Equally secretive yet far better at hiding it, this cocky American showed up from nowhere and now seems to be everywhere. The fact he's a werewolf just complicates things further. Hunters are chasing Theo from America to the UK, under the alleged claim that he brutally murdered his pack - a bloody yet unlikely accusation. As much as Ember wants to help Theo, she's fighting her own battles, and the two have to figure out their on-and-off relationship first. In this deceitful world of supernatural and normal humans, outsiders threaten Ember, Theo and their friends - both old and new. Can this group of supernatural teens be brought together by their desperation? Or will they forever be in conflict? Both Ember and Theo are playing a dangerous game with fire, and it's impossible to know who might get burned. Surviving in juvenile prison? Tough. Surviving in juvenile prison with the added bonus of seeing ghosts? Tougher. Bailey has a sixth sense, a criminal record and no appetite for trouble; serving a year-long prison sentence already sucks enough in and of itself. If only the spirits would leave her in peace. A strange warning, an inexplicable injury, a disturbing message written on her cell's wall in blood: Bailey has no choice but to conclude a ghost is out to get her. To save her life, she must find out why. But in a place where restriction is everything and escape impossible, that may be harder than it seems. ~ONC 2020 shortlister and honourable mention~ ~Featured on 'Die Young, Stay Pretty' reading list on @Horror~ -Featured on 'Horror/Paranormal' reading list on @CommunityTeam~ ~Featured on 'Life after death' reading list on @Paranormal~ ~Featured on 'Wicked little creatures' reading list on @TeenFiction~ ~Featured on 'I see dead people' on @fright~ ~Featured on @StoriesUndiscovered, may 2022~ ~Featured on 'The Rebels' reading list on @Badassreads~ ~Amby Awards 2023 Top Pick~ Written for ONC 2020.
