Being forced to move to Tulsa, Oklahoma against her own will, it was obvious that Daisy Moore wouldn't be too happy about the move. She had to leave everything behind-- her friends, her hobbies, her mother. That being said, going into the town, she was certain she would hate everything it had to offer. Daisy knew she would be miserable, and she didn't need anyone to tell her otherwise. However, after stopping by a gas station not even ten minutes after arriving in Tulsa, Daisy met Sodapop Curtis, a boy who would prove that Tulsa wasn't as bad as she made it out to be.
