The Sheriff has a secret. A secret not many know. Only his sister knows this secret because she shares said secret. This secret used to be the cause of a problem long ago and may now be the solution for when the return of a demon arises once more.

This is my first Empires SMP fanfiction. I have recently been watching more of the empires series so if but so far its only Jimmy and Scott's perspectives so if i get anything wrong its not on me.

"We always tend to believe that it's the bad memories that hurt you the most. But no one knows that it's actually the good ones that drive you insane.." "You become vulnerable." It leaves you broken and you become desperate to the point that you'll do anything just for that memory to happen again. And then you woke up.....you woke up from the truth that no matter what you do, it will never come back. "They will never come back." That's why they're called memories. "And so you put all your shattered pieces together.. Hoping that one day you'll be able to pull through and heal. Only to find yourself shattered again from the flashbacks that you wish to never remember." "It's a constant battle Chaeyoung." "And everyday it feels like you are trap in a war between remembering and forgetting." "And no matter what you choose, you know in the end you still lose." Author's note: Hi! This is a converted story from my other account. The original story has only 3 chapters and I never continued it for the reason that I can't feel much from the characters. But when I learned about Chaelisa, I just felt that this story will be perfect for them. Hope you guys would enjoy it. The story started a year after the Pandemic with a lot of flashbacks. It tackles mainly on the bitter set back of moving on and healing process. Some chapters might trigger your depression, I apologize in advance. Read at your own risk. Just a gentle reminder from your friendly author. -thechosenone
